Bank of England blocks Maduro’s $1.2 billion gold withdrawal

The Bank of England has blocked Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s officials from withdrawing $1.2 billion worth of gold. The gold is part of the $8 billion in foreign reserves held by the Venezuelan central bank. The move comes after the UK joined the US and a host of other countries by saying it would recognize Juan Guaido as the country’s interim President.

Now, I don't like this commie as much as the next person, but I'm not sure if I agree with this move. After all he is the acting President of his country and this gold belongs to Venezuela. This should be a business decision not political
