Analyst calls out excessive pessimism about Apple iPhone sales

Reputed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who was one of the first to predict the iPhone sales weakness for the holiday quarter, says that the ’worst is soon over’. Kuo predicts that iPhone shipments beyond March will be higher than market consensus. He said he is sticking to his estimates of 188-192 million 2019 iPhone shipments, higher than the street consensus of 180 million units.
