Venezuela’s opposition leader calls for more protests

Juan Guaido, the Venezuelan opposition leader, on Monday called for new street demonstrations against the ruling President Maduro. In an interview on Monday, Guaido confirmed that he had spoken with Trump ’and other presidents in the region’. Guaido rejected Maduro’s accusations that the US is staging a coup, saying citizens are simply exercising their constitutional rights.
