Metro Exodus leaves Steam for Epic Games store. Valve says ’unfair to customers’

Epic Games store secures one year exclusivity on release of Metro Exodus after lengthy pre-sale period. Valve claims removing game from Steam after the lengthy pre-sale period is unfair to Steam customers.

Steam being unfair towards Developers with their idiotic tax is also effectively unfair towards customers. Epic having a better deal towards Developers, a massively better and more fair deal than Valve does, is very fair towards developers and thus frees up their capital to invest more into their product, which in turn is fair towards customers. I'll take a platform which lacks features yet is fair towards devs over a platform which robs them blind. Maybe Valve should reconfigure their revenue system and maybe even go back to making games again instead of continuing this untenable 1-trick-pony they've had for some time. Diversify their revenue streams.

They should focus on HL2EP3.

Epic games - the platform that has no reviews... I hope steam drop to like 5% and just destroy them.

Steam kind of screwed themselves in this one, not a fan of epic games but it makes sense for metro to do this

Once forkknife loses its luster epic will kind of be forgotten just like league of legends and several other MOBAs. I get nothing is going to change.
