Judge pushes back Manafort sentencing date in fraud case

A judge overseeing Paul Manafort’s Virginia criminal case has canceled a sentencing hearing scheduled for February 8. Judge T.S. Ellis III said the resolution of an ongoing dispute in a separate case against Manafort could have some effect on the sentencing in the case before him. Manafort was convicted of eight counts of bank and tax fraud in the federal court in Alexandria.
