Saudi Arabia ends anti-corruption drive seizing $106 billion

Saudi Arabia has said it has ended a crackdown on corruption, that lasted 15 months, recovering more than $106 billion through settlements with scores of princes, ministers and top businessmen. While critics called it a power play by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the prince has defended the anti-corruption campaign as ’shock therapy’ in an attempt to overhaul the economy.
