Putin says Russia will withdraw from Cold War-era nuclear treaty within 6 months

Following a recent decision by the United States to pull out of the Cold War-era Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Saturday that Russia will be pulling out of the treaty as well. Signed in 1987 by US President Ronald Reagan and USSR leader Mikhail Gorbachev, the INF banned the use of short and medium-range missiles by both countries.

Does anyone actually believe they were both following this agreement? I think they're just talking about it publicly now, but secretly both weren't following the agreement.

It is funny that the MSM talks about the evils of Putin, but sides with him on medium range ballistic missiles. Alleged violations by Russia have been ongoing for many years... if the MSM were so convinced the treaty was working the would be able to provide a strong argument why the Russians are not violating the treaty.

I want to know what threat is actually is in today's world. I've thought we've been in a post Nuclear World since the end of the Cold War. The real threats are smaller, rogue nations instigating larger conflicts and bombing.

That’s why Russia is moving weapons into Venezuela and are trying everything in their power to keep Maduro because whoever the next President of Venezuela will be they will give Russia the middle finger and tell them to kick rocks.

Ha Haaa .... proof of Russia colluding with America. The Russian regressive left would be outraged if they were not in the gulags.

This treaty was sad to say largely irrelevant for many reasons. One such reason is static underground missile silos are run down in the US and probably Russia. If a nuclear attack were to occur now, it'd likely be from a mobile, hard to track submarine in the vast Pacific.
