SpaceX test-fires new Raptor rocket engine

SpaceX test-fired its new Raptor rocket engine February 3rd which occurred in SpaceX’s development building in McGregor, Texas. The rocket engine will be utilized by Starship, a 100 passenger stainless-steel rocket, and Super Heavy, a giant rocket that Starship will launch on top of. These vehicles are planned to be reusable and powered by the new Raptor rocket engine.
