Russia follows US in suspending INF treaty

Russian President Putin said the country is suspending participation in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty, a day after the US declared it would pull out of the agreement. Putin has reportedly ordered his ministers not to initiate any negotiations about any possible adjustments to the treaty, stating that Russia refuses to be a broker for salvaging the agreement.

Contrary to the headline, the treaty will still stand, at least for 6 months. Plenty of time to dig out your mothballed fallout shelter.
