No charges for officer who fatally shot man he mistook for Alabama mall gunman

The Alabama attorney general said on Tuesday that a police officer acted lawfully when he shot a 21-year-old black man, Emantic ’EJ’ Bradford Jr, to death last year because he mistook him for a suspect in an earlier shooting. The attorney general said his investigation concluded ’the officer did not commit a crime’ and he would not present the case to a grand jury.

Sad but true. Of course the Liberals emotions will make a huge racial issue out of this, even if the cop were black. Remember Boston people.

Shoot an innocent man three times in the back and walk away scot free. Just another day in America. I am curious, though, why the NRA and other gun rights people aren't (literally and figuratively) up in arms about this travesty of justice. Mr. Bradford was legally licensed to carry his firearm. And when a "bad guy with a gun" opened fire in a crowded public space, this "good guy with a gun" ran toward the danger to try to protect his friend and anyone else he could. And for his heroism... for his sense of duty and self-sacrifice... for his upholding the spirit of the 2nd Amendment... he gets shot three times IN THE BACK and is branded a criminal. Just another day in America.
