The earth’s magnetic north is on the move, heading towards Siberia

Scientists claim that the earth’s magnetic north pole is on the move, has picked up speed and is heading fast for Siberia. They say the north magnetic pole has started to move away from northern Canada, accelerating to a speed of 50 or 60 kilometers a year today. The swift pace toward Siberia has forced scientists to update the World Magnetic Model a year ahead of schedule.

Not that surprising. It has happened many times before over the course of a few years to a decade. They are able to see this based on the arrangement of cooled lava at volcanoes. Two eruptions that happened within years will have opposite magnetic field polarities. We were due for a change.
