Indianapolis mass shooter never appeared in court despite ’red flag’ law

Brandon Scott Hole, the Indianapolis gunman who killed 8 last week before killing himself, never appeared in a court under an Indiana ’red flag’ law, which was invoked after his mother called police fearing Hole might commit ’suicide by cop.’ A prosecutor said authorities had then seized Hole’s shotgun, and if they went ahead with the ’red flag’ process and lost, they had to return the gun to him.

So here you have a red flag law since 2005 on the books, and the prosecutor says they had no time to investigate and have a hearing..easy..lets just write more laws, that will fix it...right?

If this does not show people that making more laws that the system will only SOMETIMES follow does not help ANYONE

Why didn't cops drag him to his hearing? Why is our system so quick to bring in minorities but so slow to act on people like this? Instead of saying "these laws don't work" how about we look at why certain people are making SURE these laws don't work.

We should write a law that says people have to follow the law.

So, in other words, the system failed. Again.

They didn't have a red flag hearing because he was a " white boy"
