Senate committee votes to advance AG nomination of William Barr

The Senate Judiciary Panel has voted 12-10 along party lines to advance President Trump’s nomination of William Barr for US Attorney General. Barr has served as AG before, in 1991 under George H.W. Bush. Barr will now need to pass the confirmation process before he is named AG.
