Google is shutting down its Louisville fiber network in April

Google has confirmed it is pulling its high-speed internet service out of Kentucky’s largest city. Google Fiber announced on Thursday that Louisville’s service will end on April 15. The company acknowledged problems in Louisville with a new method of digging shallower trenches to speed up the installation times of the fiber optic cable.

that was a silly idea putting them shallow... I'm a locator and the damages I see and carelessness of many construction workers is insane. that and just the regular damage from Everyday life... ouf
