Frank Robinson, first black manager in MLB, has died at 83

Frank Robinson, the first black manager in Major League Baseball and Hall of Fame outfielder, has died at 83. Robinson had been in hospice care at his home in Los Angeles. The MLB Players Alumni Association tweeted Robinson was ’a remarkable human being’ and noted he had received a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
