Seven mumps cases confirmed at Houston ICE detention facility

Authorities have confirmed that seven adult detainees at a US ICE detention facility in Houston have been diagnosed with mumps. A Houston Health Department spokesman said detainees with mumps were put into isolation and there is less risk of these cases posing a threat to the community. The Houston Contract Detention Facility houses approximately 950-1,000 adults.

This is why part of the immigration process is a medical exam. Now just imagine if the illigal immigrant had something as bad as TB or Ebola. In addition to an exam and immunizations, is a back ground investigation, interview, and proof of financial independence or sponsorship so the immigrant isn't a burden to tax payers and the welfare system. But of course, the left calls the process racist and needless.
