US warships again challenge Beijing’s claims in South China Sea

Two US warships sailed near islands claimed by China in the South China Sea on Monday. An official said the two guided-missile destroyers traveled within 12 nautical miles of Mischief Reef in the disputed Spratly Islands. China and the US have repeatedly traded barbs in the past over what Washington claims is Beijing’s militarization of the South China Sea.

Maybe the title of this would be "US, UK challenge. . ." since that is quite clearly not the bow of a US carrier.

Good. The UK should also have a trident nuclear submarine ready to strike.

The bullshit "island" (it's just a platform built on shallow waters, 20 to 30 meters deep) the Chinese claimed (Mischief Reef), is all the way to the Philippines' coast; it's about 150 miles away from the Philippines, and 700 miles away from China. When people joke that China will claim the Moon as an extension of the South China Sea, they're not too far off.

China is a joke if they really have their so called invincible hypersonic missiles that can obliterate us carriers in a blink of an eye then why they haven’t done it yet.china is all talk but little or no action
