Massachusetts high court upholds texting suicide manslaughter conviction

Massachusetts’ top court on Wednesday upheld the manslaughter conviction of a woman accused of driving her teenage boyfriend into committing suicide in 2014 with text messages and phone calls. The court agreed with a lower court’s ruling that Michelle Carter urged her 18-year-old boyfriend Conrad Roy to kill himself.

It’s honestly terrible but I don’t think it’s right to support a loved ones suicide? That makes no sense to me. But it’s just really sad and she should have acted differently but obviously there’s no going back.......
