UK economic growth slowest since 2012

The UK economy expanded at its slowest annual rate in six years in 2018 after a sharp contraction in December. Growth in 2018 was 1.4 per cent, down from 1.8 per cent in 2017. Quarterly growth slowed, falling to 0.2 per cent in the three months to December, down from 0.6 per cent in the three months to September.

There's multiple factors at play here causing economic stagnation. Poor wage growth to name one. Not keeping up with inflation. This was a problem way before muh brexit.
