Families of missing Uighurs call for ’proof of life’ videos

In an effort to dispel rumors, Chinese state media released a video of a famous Uighur musician Abdurehim Heyit attesting to his health. However, the move appears to have backfired. Activists and members of the Uighur diaspora are calling for proof of life videos of their relatives who have disappeared into a network of so-called ’vocational training centres’.

It’s not human rights abuses when communists do it.

its hard for me to take sides here as its communists against muslims - but it will be funny to watch the shill media to react when the fact comes to light, that many of these prisoners were disassembled for organs.

Uighers are cool to look into if you like history. They played an important role in the Mongol empire.

The Chinese Communist Party is monstrous. I really don't know how else to describe it.

As much as I hate their religion, China is committing gross violations of human rights and it will be good if they can produce those videos, but from what I've seen, the person that goes into that school either does not come out or comes out a very different person who went in.

What I enjoy is the little to no evidence to show anymore than around 1000 odd people in detention centres, yet at the start of all of this what was it we were supposed to believe? 3+ million lul. It all originated for like 1 dude also who couldn’t have possibly have known. It’s funny watching the media can get kicked down the road with less of a voice after each push
