T-Mobile, Sprint execs defend $26.5 billion deal to lawmakers

Executives from T-Mobile US and Sprint Corp defended the companies’ planned merger while facing lawmakers on Wednesday. The deal approved by both companies’ shareholders needs approval from the DoJ and the Federal Communications Commission. T-Mobile US CEO John Legere defended the deal, arguing that it will create jobs and help with the construction of the next generation of wireless networks.
