Head of FEMA resigning, questioned over use of vehicles

The head of the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Brock Long, said he would resign on Wednesday. Long’s reputation took a hit last fall when the Department of Homeland Security determined he had inappropriately used government vehicles to commute between Washington and his home in North Carolina. Pete Gaynor would take over Long’s role on a temporary basis.
