Trump, Newsom spar over California scaling back bullet train project

President Trump and California Gov. Newsom got into a Twitter battle Wednesday after Trump demanded the state return $3.5 billion to the center over the curtailment of the bullet train project. Calling Trump’s statement ’Fake news’, Newsom hit back saying the state would build a high-speed rail, focussing on another segment of the project. He said the funds were allocated by Congress.

Project was miss-managed and cancelled. Sounds like they need to pay up!
