Texas man with 3-D printed gun had hitlist of lawmakers

A Texas man is heading to prison after police found him in the woods with a partially 3-D printed AR-15 rifle and a list of federal lawmakers’ addresses. Eric McGinnis was sentenced to eight years in prison on Wednesday.

The fact an order for protection issued with virtually no due process prohibited him from possessing firearms should concern everyone. As to having an unregistered firearm, shall not be infringed is not a suggestion but a command. The National Firearms Act and the registration that it entails would have been declared unconstitutional but a competent Supreme Court. The title may be click bait, but this conviction stinks.
