Napkin, genealogy site leads to arrest in 1993 murder case

Police retrieved the napkin a man discarded at the scene of the 1993 cold-case murder to zero in on the killer. Jerry Westrom, 52, wiped his face with a napkin and threw it away while watching his daughter’s hockey game in Wisconsin. The DNA off the napkin Westrom discarded was matched with that collected at the scene of the murder of Jeanne Ann ’Jeanie’ Childs.
