Spanish warship orders Gibraltar boats to leave British waters

A Spanish warship tried to order commercial shipping to leave anchorages in British waters near Gibraltar. However, the British navy challenged the Spanish warship which then sailed slowly along the coast with its weapons uncovered and manned.

Time for a war with Spain.

The Royal Navy should just sink that Spanish ship. Spain needs to realize they are going to get Argentinaed if they continue down this road.

Gibraltar was ceded by Spain to Great Britain in 1713, and has remained under its control ever-since. The majority of the 30,000 residents of the prosperous territory speak English. Spain has no claim to the territory.

The right to rule comes with the consent of the governed. Spain has no right to rule Gibraltar or Catalonia.

Yeah, "Return Sabah to the Spanish!" Is that your way cry in 2019? If it is returned, does it go to the Spanish, or to the United States (Spain ceded all of the Philippines to the USA), or to the Philippines, or to the sultan of Sulu, or to Brunei (Sulu took it from Brunei), or to the dayaks (Brunei too it from the dayaks)...?

Britain once leased Sabah from Sulu Philippines then instead of returning it, Britain formed the Confederate States of Malaysia and donated Sabah to Malaysia. Malaysia continues to lease Sabah for a few thousand dollars. Viva Espana! Lest we forget.

Funny. This has been happening for at least 600 years: as soon as Britain has internal problems *cough*Brexit*cough*, Spain does something intolerable. Just for your information, Gibraltar is not just *we want it back* for Spain. It's a lot of problems. The territorial waters were not mentioned in the treaty, so they should not exist for Gibraltar. The border has been moved by the British in at least five different occasions. The ecological problem, as Gibraltar tends to just throw their shit into the sea without treatment. The drug problem, as drug lords lead a cozy life in Gibraltar while they deal in Morocco and Spain. It's a tax haven. You see, a nice neighbor all around. But yeah, please go on with your chest thumping.
