Researchers blame YouTube for the rise in Flat Earthers

A new report suggests that YouTube is playing a significant role in convincing some people that the Earth is flat. The study was led by Prof Asheley Landrum from Texas Tech University and involved interviews with 30 attendees at two conferences. Landrum said the algorithms the site uses to guide people made it easy to ’end up down the rabbit hole’ of misinformation.

You tube is to blame? There's always been people that. YouTube just makes it easier for them to connect with like-minded people. The internet does that. Pedos can connect with other pedos Predators connect with other predators. Hidden camera freaks connect trade videos. I think some goofball thinking the world is flat is the least of our internet problems. Who cares if they think the world is flat??

YouTube is as guilty as the word gullible written on the ceiling with a person's low iq next to it. Media can be wrong. People can be wrong. Critically thinking is important!

I believe that the real cause is gullibility.
