Southern Baptist president calls for action on sexual abuse

Over a decade after the Southern Baptist Convention rejected the idea of creating a database of ministers accused of sexual abuse, leaders said the possibility is on the table. The president of the convention said an advisory group was studying the possibility of a database but the subject is complicated. With 15 million members and over 47,000 churches, the convention is the nation’s largest.

My church used to be a part of the SBC. But we left due to them not taking action against sexual claims. Not surprised this happened at all.
