Venezuela’s government said Monday it will stage a concert on the Colombian border the same day British billionaire Richard Branson plans to hold one to push for humanitarian aid to be allowed in. Venezuela’s culture minister said the government had received requests from many Venezuelan musicians seeking to take part in ’a big concert for peace and life’.

Hopefully, Richard Branson will learn from the mistakes of Live-Aid, and make sure that the money raised is actually used responsibly instead of being sent to corrupt politicians.
