Grand Canyon museum exposed tourists to radiation for years

An employee of Grand Canyon National Parks claims the park covered up the discovery of a cache of highly radioactive uranium that may have exposed employees and visitors to radiation. Park officials allegedly formed a ’secrecy pact’ to cover up the fact that three large drums of uranium had been stored in the Grand Canyon’s museum building for 18 years.

This seems overblown uranium ore isn't that radioactive, unless you're real close won't be exposed to much radiation to the point where in the UK article they mention that 5 feet away the radiation levels where normal. Most people should be fine, the people who should be worried should be the ones that got really close to the buckets like employees.

Interesting that the UK article goes into much more detail! You’d think it would be just the opposite considering it’s NOT located in the UK! Seems they are still trying to downplay the situation!!
