Three lawmakers quit Theresa May’s party citing ’disastrous’ Brexit deal

Three pro-EU lawmakers from Britain’s governing Conservatives quit over the government’s ’disastrous handling of Brexit’. The lawmakers said in a statement they would join a new ’Independent group’ in parliament set up by seven former opposition Labour politicians. The resignations put May in an even weaker position in parliament.

Go UKIP, the only party that cares about freedom.

I have to admit, I don’t understand why any deal has to be reached at all. If you are part of a group and you don’t want to be part of it anymore, then leave. If you have an obligation to the group, once it is up don’t renew. So I don’t understand how this is so complicated? But I will admit I’m not versed in how they became involved with the EU. Maybe there is a long term agreement, but still doesn’t seem this complicated.

They should form a “globalist party” and see how many votes they get...

I feel like Theresa May’s staff are giving her the same treatment as Brexit. A slow and painful process of leaving. Like a dull blade stuck in your gut being slowly twisted or maybe in the back is more fitting....

The story should be 3 females quit because it felt good. They didnt like their female leader's disastrous inability to negotiate, so they quit, rather than just man up and get it done. This whole sorry state of affairs came about when a prominent German female leader decided she would become mother to the third world and invite them all to Europe. Because she felt it was the nice thing to do and she wanted her female voters to like her. Anyone else see the pattern??? So few female leaders in the world but they still manage to be way over represented among the disastrously incompetent. At this rate, this diversity experiment will be the death of western civilization.

The BBC were interviewing some of the conservatives who quit today. They were saying that they felt the party was being run by the anti EU members and is heading towards a no deal Brexit. They also said they wanted to truly represent the public... The public voted to leave the EU. Not one interviewer questioned them on this glaring contradiction but one did offer to be an advisor to the new party. The BBC is a great British institution and a shining example of unbiased journalism.
