Activists pull down statue of Polish priest accused of sex abuse

Activists overturned a statue of a Polish priest accused of sex abuse in the northern city of Gdansk early on Thursday. Video footage showed the activists using a rope to topple the statue of Father Henryk Jankowski, who died in 2010 and has faced accusations of pedophilia.

This is still vandalism. Disgraced or not.

I don’t want to believe this, but sadly these things happen but I think it was a bit much to rip down a statue of someone who helped shaped a society ,but that doesn’t excuse his actions, my polish heritage is hurting a bit.

I hate the pulling down of statues. Statues remind us of the past, both the food and the bad. Maybe move statues like this to a "disgraced historical figures" area or something but don't get rid of it.
