DOJ violated law by not conferring with victims of Jeffrey Epstein

A federal judge in Florida ruled that the DoJ broke the law by failing to confer with victims of Jeffrey Epstein about the 2008 plea deal that garnered him only 13 months in prison and no federal trial. District Judge Kenneth Marra said it was ’a material omission for the Government’. The judge said prosecutors violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act in their dealings with two underage victims.
