India top court orders an end to assaults against Kashmiris

India’s Supreme Court on Friday ordered increased protection for Kashmiris who have faced a violent backlash following a suicide bombing in the troubled territory that killed 40 paramilitaries. More than 700 Kashmiri, including students, workers and traders, have returned to the state from across the country to escape reprisals for the attack.
