Latest test brings Virgin galactic one step closer to commercial space tourism

On saturday Feb 5, Virgin Galactic conducted another test flight of its SpaceShipTwo spaceplane. The ship was carrying two astronauts, experimental NASA cargo, and the first ever test passenger. The test flight reached the edge of earth’s suborbital space, less than 8 miles from the officially recognized boundary between earth and outer space.
