Iran launches cruise missile from submarine in Strait of Hormuz

Iran has test fired a cruise missile during war games involving 100 vessels off its southern coast. This is believes to have taken place near the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil shipping route at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, amid heightened tensions with the US. Warships, helicopters and surveillance planes also took part in the drill, which ended on Sunday.

Nothing to see here, just a country testing his own missiles. They need to make sure they are capable of defending themselves against imperialist/ communist/ neoconservative and/or autocratic governments.

it may not seem like much but as far as I'm concerned iran is easily the most advanced Islamic nation on earth, given that they've had to domestically develope so much. if given the opportunity and resources they could easily dominate the arab world. it doesn't help that everyone else sees school as an afront to "religious values"
