Brexit could be delayed by 21 months until 2021

European Council President Donald Tusk said on Monday that delaying Brexit beyond the scheduled exit date of March 29 would be a ’rational solution’. His comments came a day after his meet with British PM May. Separately, sources indicate Brexit could be delayed until 2021 under plans being explored by the EU’s most senior officials.

This is utter betrayal of a democratic vote. This is like having a vote over and over again until the 'right' result is reaches. Utterly despicable, call the yellow wests!

Lol. Time to deliver that request to the Queen to put parliament on rest through the end date, UKIP.

Admittedly the uncertainty is damaging, they’ve had two years to cobble together a stitch up. Let’s leave on the date stipulated by law, let’s leave already. Enough is enough.

Extending the period of uncertainty will be more devastating than leaving on WTO rules

Looks like the politicians in the UK are going to push the people to join the Yellow Vest revolution. Not a smart or "rational" move at all.

If the UK just gave up Northern Ireland they could reunify it, avoid a hard border, and carry out their goal of shooting themselves in the foot all in one fell motion.

No it would not be a rational solution. The vote took place three freakin years ago. It is parliament’s singular job to follow the democratic vote of the people.

Let us go! Article 50 says we leave on 29th March 2019 that is the law. The EU is not Hotel California, no matter how much Donald Tusk and all his fascist cohorts wish it were.

Next, you will ask for Brexit to be extended for the next 100 years. Just let it happen, if Brexit does royally screw Britain over, the sooner they know it for sure the better

Yeah who cares about democracy anyway, just keep putting it off, when that stops working just vote until you get the correct answer. Democracy ftw..

What’s the point in extending? The EU has already said the beat deal Britain is going to get is the one on offer, a deal that would make the UK a mere vassal of the EU.
