UN court to rule on British sovereignty over Chagos islands

The UN’s highest court is set to deliver an advisory opinion on the legality of British sovereignty over the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean. The largest of the islands houses a strategically important US military base. Mauritius argues that the Chagos archipelago was part of its territory since at least the 18th century and was taken unlawfully by the UK in 1965.

Hmmm no. The islands belong to Britain by right of conquest.

They can try and take them if they like, wars against Britain rarely go well. Evidence: the world. Although Argentina comes to mind, the US would never not back the U.K. (and the other way around). Good luck taking shit from either without both laughing at you. Fuck the UN
