Foxconn’s Wisconsin deal shrinks significantly

Taiwan’s Foxconn is drastically scaling back a planned $10B factory in Wisconsin. Under a deal with the state of Wisconsin, Foxconn will reduce its planned investment to $672M and cut the number of new jobs to 1,454 from 13,000. The deal was first announced to great fanfare at the White House in 2017.

The Biden Effect.

They turn this into a Trump thing after he's out of office, not a Biden thing though he's in office. Another headline could be, "Under Biden, Foxconn drastically reduces its promise to hire Americans."

Apparently they voted him out, why be surprised that his policies are fading? Isn't that the POINT?

Yea idk why the state didn’t demand some means of insurance should they get all these perks and the state goes out of its way and then the company pulls out and fails to fulfill the deal. People lost their fucking homes over the eminent domain powers used to claim land to expand the highways in that area. For nothing of note now.

This is the result when you put someone in office that is not friendly to local business. He wants the jobs to be in China. He wants Americans to struggle and come to the nanny state begging for assistance. They don't want strong citizens supporting themselves and their families.

It was a stunt from the start to curry favor from Trump. It was never viable and would have been a white elephant if it went through.

Raising the taxes to 30% has consequences. But Beijing Biden is working for the CCP so he is getting the consequence he wants. Unemployed American citizens and a society controlled by organized crime syndicates.

Meanwhile, Foxconn explains their low computer chips production with covid. The demand for electronic devices is at an all time high but they won't invest in a new factory. Sure.
