US Navy ships pass through Taiwan Strait amid China tensions

The US sent two Navy ships through the Taiwan Strait on Monday as its military increased the frequency of movement through the strategic waterway despite opposition from China. China expressed anger at the move. The movement comes as President Trump said the US and China were ’very, very close’ to a deal to end a months-long trade war.

Maybe the tensions were caused by Winnie the Pooh saying, on January 2nd 2019, that Taiwan "must and will be reunited" with China. Last I checked, Taiwan likes being independent, and has a good deal of defense treaties with various nations, including the USA. If there's anyone increasing tensions, is China's imperialist threats. Stop claiming islands and oceans as yours, and tensions will drop.
