UK opposition backs new Brexit referendum

UK’s main opposition party is throwing its weight behind another referendum on Brexit. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said his party would support a move that would give the British public a chance to vote on PM May’s Brexit deal if Labour’s proposals were rejected by Parliament later this week. The party is expected to set out five demands this week, including a permanent customs union with the EU.
