Racial justice activists hope Chauvin verdict triggers systemic change

Anti-racism activists across the US erupted with joy over the guilty verdict of Derek Chauvin in the murder of George Floyd. However, many said it wasn’t justice but a step in the right direction to tackle the issue of systemic racism in the US. Even former President Barack Obama said the verdict was ’far from sufficient,’ while Minnesota AG Keith Ellison called it the ’first step toward justice.’

Nothing systemic about racism. Hasn't been since Biden first got into office when he joined the party of segregation. There also wasn't any racist element to the Chauvin case. Not a single link to racism was even suggested. Why add things into topics that they don't apply? It dilutes the few cases of real racism that occur and takes away from the legitimacy of the real victims.

This case does nothing. If anything it just made everything worse for everyone involved. Cops are quitting and leaving because the city hates them for doing their jobs. You can’t even save someone’s life without getting fired. Heaven forbid you try arresting the left wing terrorists burning buildings down and shooting at national guardsmen. The system is broken. There is no faith in a system that has been compromised by the precedents the Democrats have laid out. Trump tells people to be peaceful, its insurrection. Maxine Waters tells people to be “more confrontational” after National guardsmen are shot and it’s NOT? They’re not even trying to hide the bias. This path leads nowhere good. Anyone with eyes can see the writing on the wall.

How about these justice activists work on people to comply and not run or fight. Work on eliminating gangs, drugs, helping those that are trying to find jobs and not depend on the government. How about not thinking everything is offensive or about race just bad choices.

Wonder how all these "historic moments" will look if this whole thing gets overturned on appeal? Gonna be hard to keep the narrative going...
