India launches air strikes in Pakistani territory; kills nearly 300 terrorists

Indian fighter jets in the early hours of Tuesday crossed into Pakistani territory, conducting what the foreign ministry termed a ’non-military pre-emptive action’ against the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM). Reports indicate those killed included JeM terrorists, trainers, and commanders. This comes in response to a suicide attack in Kashmir, claimed by the JeM, killing 44 Indians.

found a really interesting article about how this fight is shaping up over water. India controls the water supply to Pakistan, Pakistan pushes back with state sponsered terrorism and then the tit for tat ensues with India having the upper hand due to a larger military and control of the Indus valley rivers

The 300 came from CNBC, that must be their interpretation of a very large number.

I don't know how they got the body count because the raid was done at 3 am on a moonless night. The damage assessment seems to be very specific but no footage of the raid or the damage. There also seems to be some confusion as to which base came under attack. Some reports say a terrorist PAK army base 50 miles from the Line Of Control (LoC). Other reports say a base 2 to 3 miles from the LoC. Both seem strange to me as who uses miles with military distances and bombing? In addition, the reports talk about 12 Mirage supersonic fighter bombers, of the Indian army, spending hours in PAK airspace. First, airforce's are the ones with the aeroplanes and the army is the ones with the trucks. Second, these aircraft would reach their targets in minutes not hours give the distances these reports are talking about. So to sum up, somewhere the Indian airforce dropped some bombs. Refuelled the aircraft in the air and no footage of the actual damage assessment has been produced. This because Islamic terrorist funded by the Oil Kingdoms and trained and armed by Pakistan murdered 45 Indian soldiers returning to duty after a national holiday. The jihadis blew themselves up and the bus carrying the Indian soldiers. Maybe it is time the CIA stop pretending that the Oil Kingdoms are allies or friends.

Kashmir should have self determination, apparently most people in Kashmir don't see themselves as either indian or Pakistani. of course that's not how geopolitics works - if two powers see an opportunity to get more land they'll take it, to hell with the local population
