Victoria’s Belt and Road agreements with China torn apart by Australia govt

New foreign veto laws have been used by the Morrison government to tear up agreements for Victoria’s Belt and Road with China. Marise Payne, the Foreign Minister of Australia further added that the deals and two older agreements between Iranian and Syrian entities and the Victorian government will be cancelled. She claimed the agreements were inconsistent with the foreign policies of Australia.
