California fire department issues a reminder to not park in front of hydrants

Fire officials in California issued a warning to drivers on Tuesday against parking their vehicles in front of a fire hydrant during an emergency. The department tweeted photos of a hose running through the smashed-out back passenger windows of the car, which was parked along a curb painted a stark red. The officials had to run the hose line through the rear windows in order to battle the blaze.

Everyone deserves that who parks in front of a hydrant. Period. I hope the hose leaks water in the car...

That's a pretty usual occurrence in California.. not the fire hydrant but the car window breaks. Because the cops are not allowed to do their fucking JOB!

Fire trucks should be equipped with battering rams, sounds like an appropriate use of taxpayer money to me.
