Mark McCloskey, St Louis man who showed gun to protesters, may run for Senate

Mark McCloskey, the St Louis lawyer who made news last year for brandishing an assault rifle at BLM protesters, said he is considering running for Missouri’s US Senate seat from which Sen Roy Blunt is retiring. Talking to Politico, McCloskey said, ’I can confirm it’s a consideration. Yes.’ In June 2020, McCloskey and his wife, Patricia, waved guns at protesters who were marching past their home.

'Marching past their home' yeah no. More like 'Marching whilst armed, through fenced and gated private property, and without permission; causing disturbance of the peace and instilling fear into residents'

Mark McCloskey did nothing wrong. The safety of oneself and one's family is the most important. It's not like he shot any of them.

Don't define the man for one incident. He's an advocate for the people. Always has been. I hope he does well.

Considering the right doesn’t run on policy these days just showmanship this guy is going to have some problems. Other than being raised up as an icon by the right this guy has no charisma - just a complete putz.

"Protesters" Oh yeah, 'cause protests so often involve marching armed through a gated community, breaking down people's gates and surrounding their house with a bloodthirsty mob. It's nice to see this site allows leftists to engage in their BS euphemisms. Really don't see that anywhere else online or on TV.
