Amazon plans to open a non-Whole Foods grocery chain across America

Amazon Inc. is planning on opening many grocery stores in different U.S. cities as the giant retail business hopes to increase its reach in the $840 billion grocery market. The company supposedly plans to open its first grocery store in Los Angeles by the end of 2019. Amazon has also supposedly signed leases for at least two other grocery locations with openings planned in early 2020.
