On March 1st, the Washington Post published an editors note explaining their initial coverage of the Covington controversy contained misinformation about the events involving Covington students that occurred at the Lincoln Memorial in late January. The note goes on to state that they later posted articles with updated information about the incident.

You missed the deadline that was made very public multiple times I believe. You probably thought it was a bluff. Guess you were wrong. It probably won't cost you the full amount but the payday will hurt your checkbook. Really hope they follow through and sue the rest of the ones that refused to apologise.
