US, South Korea cancel major war games ’to support diplomatic efforts’

The US and South Korea have canceled a major war games exercise in order to ’support diplomatic efforts’ with North Korea. This was announced in a joint statement by South Korea’s Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo and acting US Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan. President Trump on Sunday tweeted that the cancellation would ’save hundreds of millions of dollars for the US’.

Good news. Trump has done amazing things globally. I just wish it could be acknowledged instead of demonised. Poor bloke is hated for nothing, whilst doing great things for the US. The vast majority of my people back you Mr President and you’re always welcome in our home country. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Good, The US empire retracting it's reach and military is good for everyone in the world, expecially Americans. Americans need infrastructure, healthcare and decent education. Not generations of wars for land that isn't theirs.

Get your own house in perfect order before you criticize the world. I would like the U.S. to follow that example, but I don't think that'll ever happen.
