House election reform bill won’t get Senate vote, says McConnell

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Monday that he will not bring a House election reform bill up for a vote in the Senate. House Democrats are expected to pass the sweeping anti-corruption bill, known as H.R. 1, this week, kicking the legislation to the GOP-controlled Senate. Proponents argue the bill is necessary to crack down on corruption in upcoming elections.

Of course, Mitch is against HR1, its a move to block dark money and foreign money, two things Mitch and other politicians on both sides have gotten fat off of. And of course their handlers don't want to give up their control of Congress and the White House so they told Mitch he better kill this bill.
